Since president Joe Biden entered the oval office in January of 2021, it is no secret that the United States has experienced a series of problems on both the domestic and international levels that have been caused or exacerbated by the sitting president. Indeed, early in his term Biden promoted several large spending packages passed by Democrats and Republican allies in Congress which authorized trillions of dollars in new spending. These packages at least in part were responsible for the levels of inflation that have skyrocketed the cost of living and crushed the American working class. Over 60% of Americans are estimated to be living paycheck to paycheck, and housing costs have increased to such an extent that many median income families can not afford to purchase a residence.
Internationally, Biden’s incoherent and feckless leadership has placed America at a position of weakness on the world stage. Enemies of the western world and the United States have been emboldened by this reality, and many have taken outwardly aggressive actions as a consequence, plunging the international world into anarchy and chaos in terms of governance and diplomacy. Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022.
Most recently, Biden has watched as Hamas (an Islamic terrorist group) has waged war against Israel. Biden has previously made a deal with Iran which gave the country billions in frozen assets in exchange for American prisoners. Iran has openly threatened America, and is rumored to be supporting terrorists in the region. Nonetheless, Biden has also purchased oil from the nation while cutting back domestic production. The 2024 election is now less than a year away, and while Biden is unpopular, Democrats seek likely to continue to support the president or a similar candidate should he be replaced. A recent poll shows how radical the party has become- 1 in 5, or 20% of leftists are estimated to support the terrorist group Hamas in their war against Israel.
