The Democrat Governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, has a hysterical theory as to why Trump is now polling higher than Biden.
NBC News spoke with Governor Shapiro about an article on Wednesday showing Trump’s lead. Shapiro was asked to explain Trump’s advantage in the polls compared to Biden. Shapiro thinks that voters’ mental fog will lift in time for the 2024 presidential election, which he says is the real reason for Trump’s advantage.
According to what Shapiro told NBC News, many may not recall how hectic and divided it was or how he was always in their living rooms. He claimed he didn’t believe anyone wanted to go through that again.
In 2020, Trump is tipped to face Biden in another battle for the presidency after winning the Republican primary. Based on the average of national GOP primary surveys conducted by RealClearPolitics (RCP), the former president has a lead of 46% and a lead of over 30% in Iowa.
Shapiro continued by saying that the public would reject Trump’s radicalism, turmoil, and danger when they are reminded of the past and compelled to listen to it again during a presidential campaign.
A recent survey by Emerson College found that Trump had a 47% to 43% advantage over Biden, while a recent survey by Messenger/HarrisX found that Trump’s lead has grown.
The nationwide survey conducted by NBC for the 2024 race has Trump leading Biden.
According to NBC anchor Kristen Welker, their national poll for the 2024 general election sees Donald Trump, a Republican and former president, surpassing Joe Biden. It is a first in the history of the network.
In addition, Trump is ahead of Biden in many surveys done in battleground states, such as those performed by the New York Times and Siena College.
There is also the possibility that candidates from third parties, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, and Cornel West, may have an impact on the result of the election in 2024.
