(JustPatriots.com)- First, there was the PELOSI bill. A scathing acronym for Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments. This was a direct shot across the bow of Nancy Pelosi and her and her husband’s inside trading.
Now we have the PENCIL resolution aimed at Adam Schiff. It stands for “Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses Resolution.” But it also refers to well-known memes about Adam Schiff and his “pencil neck.” Trump famously referred to Schiff as “Little Pencil-Neck.”
The “PENCIL Resolution” was submitted by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on Thursday.
With this law, Adam Schiff won’t be able to access confidential material. Schiff is well-known for telling the American people outright lies during hearings before House committees.
“The resolution expresses the sense of the U.S. House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-30) should not have access to classified information, should be investigated by the House Ethics Committee, and should have his comments made during any proceeding of Congress regarding Russian Collusion and the Trump campaign be officially struck from the record.”
According to Congressman Gaetz, “Congressman Adam Schiff led the effort for years to weaponize lies from the Clinton campaign and a corrupt Department of Justice to smear President Trump while destroying any trust the country had left in America’s intelligence agencies. Speaker McCarthy kept his promise to remove Rep. Schiff from the Intelligence Committee, and with the PENCIL Resolution, we will express the sense of Congress that he should be barred from accessing any classified information at all. He can no longer be trusted by his colleagues in Congress or the American people.”
Meanwhile, Gaetz pointed out, this week saw the unsealing of a nine-count indictment against Special Agent Charles McGonigal, the former director of the FBI’s counterintelligence division in New York.
This demonstrated that the same persons looking into whether President Trump and Russia colluded were themselves following Russian billionaires’ commands. While actively serving as a top FBI employee, McGonigal conspired to set up a post-career influence-peddling enterprise while accepting unlawful foreign payments.
