(JustPatriots.com)- This week, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed new details about the Biden family’s business dealings in China which the committee obtained through a subpoena of financial records belonging to a longtime business associate of Hunter Biden, Rob Walker.
In a memo released on Thursday, Comer revealed that Biden family members, and companies associated with them, received more than $1.3 million from accounts tied to Walker from 2015 to 2017, much of it from a wire transfer for a Chinese energy company. The money from Walker’s accounts went not only to companies associated with Hunter Biden and his uncle James but also to Beau Biden’s widow Hallie as well as an “unknown ‘Biden.’”
Just two days before Comer’s explosive revelation, Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera, who opposes the investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business deals, wrote on Twitter that it was time for Republicans to “put up or shut up.”
Rivera argued that investigations into Hunter’s foreign deals have gone on for nearly five years and all Republicans have been able to uncover is that he is a “junkie dirtbag.” Rivera claimed that “nothing remotely criminal” has been revealed in the investigations.
Of course, Rivera is wrong.
As Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway noted in response to his tweet, Rivera ignores crimes related to guns, prostitution, drugs, tax evasion, money laundering, bribery, and “foreign agent shenanigans.”
According to Comer’s memo, two months after Joe Biden left office in 2017, the Chinese company State Energy HK Limited wired $3 million to the account of Robinson Walker LLC, one of the accounts belonging to Rob Walker.
Following the transfer, Biden family members and companies belonging to them began to receive “incremental payments” of $1,065,000 over a period of about three months, including companies associated with both James Biden and Hunter, Hallie Biden, and an unknown bank account identified in the financial records only by “Biden.”
According to Comer, Beau’s widow Hallie received a total of $35,000 from Robinson Walker LLC, a $10,000 payment in February 2017 before the Chinese wire transfer, and an additional $25,000 after the wire transfer.
In a press release on Thursday, Chairman Comer said the committee is concerned that the millions the Biden family received from foreign nationals could have “national security implications.” He said the committee will continue following the money trail to determine if there is a national security threat from the Biden family’s foreign business schemes or if “President Biden is compromised.”
