Biden Accused Of Wanting Riley’s Death To Fade

According to Republican Georgia Representative Mike Collins, he believes President Joe Biden hopes the issue about Laken Riley, the young woman murdered by an illegal alien, would go away on its own.

On February 22, while out for a run on the University of Georgia campus, 22-year-old Riley, a nursing student at Augusta University College of Nursing, was discovered battered to death. Her murder led to the arrest of Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant with a criminal record in the United States.

According to reports, the UGA Police Department caught and identified the killer as Jose Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan national. Among the several allegations against Ibarra that Police Chief Jeffrey L. Clark announced during a news conference were felony murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, concealing a death, and hindering a 911 call.

Ali Bradley of NewsNation posted the news on social media, claiming that Biden had a crucial role in Ibarra’s unlawful entrance to the US from Venezuela. After making it to El Paso, Texas, he was reportedly released from detention in September 2022. Jose Antonio Ibarra was found guilty of endangering a child and driving without a license in late 2023 when he was arrested in New York. He was reportedly discharged promptly.

According to the DHS, Ibarra and his wife crossed the US border illegally through El Paso, Texas, in 2022. His wife said they were put on a bus and driven to New York after their detention and subsequent release. It was at that time, according to an immigration attorney, that the US extended special protective status to illegal aliens from Venezuela.

Rep. Collins got the Riley family’s consent to have her name attached to a proposed law.  Reports show that after Riley’s murder, Rep. Collins took the lead in introducing the Laken Riley Act, a measure that the congressman hoped would deter similar atrocities in the future.  Collins explained that this measure would alter the legal means by which local governments may summon Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to apprehend and, ideally, deport the illegal immigrants who have broken into our nation.
