Witness at Rally Shares Insider Account of Trump Assassination Attempt

A flurry of gunfire and bullets rocked the Butler Farm showgrounds in western Pennsylvania, leaving many stunned and bewildered. When gunfire started ringing out, the gunman, Donald Trump, was in the middle of a sentence. He reached for his ear and fell to the ground, and Secret Service personnel piled on top of him to shield his body from further harm.

Laying on the shed roof, the assailant unleashed six shots from an AR-15 rifle on the ex-president and the horrified onlookers.

The gunfire started at 6:11 pm.

A witness claimed to have seen the shooter “bear-crawling” onto the shed’s roof only minutes before the mayhem broke out, and he had been desperately attempting to identify him to the authorities and the Secret Service.

Local farmer Devin saw two injured persons hurriedly carried onto stretchers and taken to waiting ambulances. The sights of the Secret Service snipers’ muzzle flashes as they brought down the gunman will undoubtedly haunt him forever.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, who opened fire and was later confirmed as the gunman, had further facts about his life revealed on Sunday. The shooter’s residence and car were searched and discovered to contain crude materials for building explosives. According to an ex-classmate, he was an active member of the local gun club and had also tried out for the high school rifle team but was not selected- they say he was a poor shot.

The FBI is currently looking at the shooter’s past to see if he was a domestic violent extremist with political motivations. Officials from the Justice Department informed the press that the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia, had the shooter’s phone and is now analyzing it.

According to law enforcement officials, witnesses saw the gunman on a rooftop around 400 feet away from Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania, speech venue and alerted the authorities. According to the Butler County sheriff, another cop lifted a fellow officer onto the roof so the two of them could look down. The cop lost his grip and fell to the ground as the gunman aimed his weapon at him.

Following this, the assailant shifted his focus to the gathering and unleashed a barrage of six to eight shots from an assault rifle. He was quickly assassinated by a sharpshooter from the Secret Service. As blood splattered down Trump’s face, armed operatives escorted him swiftly from the platform.
