(JustPatriots.com)- White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer questions about the payments received by multiple members of the Biden family from a Chinese energy company, accusing the Republicans of peddling “lies” and “inaccuracies.”
In a March 16 memo, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer revealed that between 2015 and 2017, members of the Biden family members, along with the companies associated with them, received over $1.3 million from accounts tied to Rob Walker, a longtime Hunter Biden business associate. And much of that money came from a Chinese energy company.
Walker’s financial records were subpoenaed by the Oversight Committee in connection to its investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business deals.
According to Comer, the payments from Walker’s account not only went to companies associated with Hunter Biden and his uncle James but also to Beau Biden’s widow Hallie Biden and another account listed only as “Biden.”
In 2017 the Chinese company State Energy HK Limited wired $3 million into one of the accounts belonging to Rob Walker, Robinson Walker LLC, according to Comer’s memo.
Robinson Walker LLC then began transferring “incremental payments” over about three months to companies associated with both James Biden and Hunter, as well as Hallie Biden and an unknown bank account identified only by “Biden” in the financial records. In total, the Biden family received $1,065,000 from Roberson Walker LLC.
When asked about the payment transfers during last Wednesday’s press briefing, Jean-Pierre told reporters that she would not respond.
Jean-Pierre dismissed the latest revelations, claiming that House Republicans have been making similar claims “for years and years and years.” She said the claims against the Biden family are “inaccuracies and lies” and said she wouldn’t “know where to begin” in answering the question, adding, “I’m just not going to get into it.”
