(JustPatriots.com)- South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is a controversial one, for both Democrats and Republicans. To Democrats, she’s an ultra-Republican and conservative figure who poses a threat to their woke agenda. To Republicans, she’s sometimes a Trump supporter, sometimes a RINO.
But whatever she is, you can’t say Noem doesn’t stand up for what she believes in. And last Monday, during the 81st Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, she appeared on a horse and gave a speech slamming Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The event, which was a part of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Legends Ride, was reported to be busier than it ever was even pre-pandemic. Noem rode in on a horse – after riding in on a motorcycle – waving an American flag, and told the crowd that she was “surprised” to see Fauci picking on Sturgis.
She said that the public health official, who leads Joe Biden’s disastrous COVID-19 response, picked on the event last year.
“I wish he cared more about the Southern Border,” she added, describing how huge numbers of infected aliens continue to arrive at the border every month.
It comes as authorities report that 213,000 people were apprehended while crossing the border in July, which is higher than at any point in the last 21 years. Many of those tested positive for COVID-19, and are being released into communities all over the country.
Noem told the crowd that she doesn’t believe that governors have the authority to tell Americans that they must shut down their businesses or shelter in place, or to pass on mandates ordered by the federal government. It was a clear publicity drive for her upcoming re-election campaign, but one clearly welcomed by the crowd.
Around 700,000 people turned up to the annual 10-day motorcycle event that started last Friday.
