Trump Tombstone on Display in NYC Gallery Sparks Outrage

Only liberals could find joy in celebrating a Trump tombstone while conservatives rally to defend his legacy. The left’s obsession with Donald Trump knows no bounds, even when it comes to his so-called “death.”

At a Glance:

  • A 500-pound Trump tombstone, created by artist Brian Andrew Whiteley, is on display in a New York City gallery.
  • The tombstone, bearing the phrase “Made America Hate Again,” was initially displayed in 2016 but has resurfaced ahead of the 2024 election.
  • Trump supporters, including Rep. Mike Walz, condemned the display, especially in light of recent assassination attempts on Trump.

In yet another example of the left’s fixation on Donald Trump, Brooklyn artist Brian Andrew Whiteley has revived his controversial 500-pound tombstone art project. Titled “Legacy Stone,” the sculpture is currently on display at Manhattan’s Satellite Gallery, sparking outrage from conservatives who see it as nothing more than a sick celebration of violence against the former president.

The tombstone features Trump’s name, his birth year, and the phrase “Made America Hate Again.” Originally created during Trump’s first presidential run in 2016, the artwork quickly garnered attention from law enforcement and even led to an FBI investigation. Now, with Trump running for president once again in 2024, Whiteley has brought the divisive piece back, and it’s attracting plenty of attention—and not all of it positive.

Whiteley insists that the artwork is not a call for violence, claiming instead that it’s a reflection of Trump’s “ego” and a foreshadowing of his political legacy. However, Trump supporters aren’t buying it. Republican Florida Rep. Mike Walz slammed the exhibit, calling it dangerous and accusing Whiteley of playing with fire in a politically charged climate, especially after two assassination attempts on Trump this year.

“There’s been very happy people, celebratory people,” Whiteley told the press, describing the left-wing reaction to the tombstone. “We just have people screaming, yes, yes, yes, dancing, taking photos.”

For many conservatives, however, the exhibit crosses a line. Trump has been the target of multiple assassination plots, including recent attempts by Iranian operatives. For Whiteley to display this tombstone now, critics argue, is in poor taste and serves only to stoke more division.

Despite the backlash, Whiteley remains defiant, saying, “I think we should kick his ass at the ballot box.” But Trump’s supporters are standing firm, defending him from what they see as yet another example of the left’s relentless campaign to tarnish his name.
