Trump Family Members Seek To Delay Deposition

( Insider reports that former President Donald Trump and two of his children, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., will not be testifying in the New York Attorney General’s politically-charged investigation into the Trump Organization – at least, not yet.

It was originally ordered by a Manhattan Judge that the three testify to the investigators within the next two weeks, but following an appeal from the Trumps’ lawyers, the testimony may be delayed by a matter of months.

Ron Fischetti, one of the attorneys representing former President Donald Trump, said that they are “not going to testify by March 19.”

“I don’t think anybody thought that they were going to testify by that date,” he also told the press.

Fischetti also insisted that the Trump legal team is currently in the process of filing an appeal and will ask for a stay – adding that the granting of these kind of appeals is “routine” and that there is no way it will be denied.

The Trumps were expected to testify as a result of subpoenas filed by far-left New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has been working since the end of the 2020 presidential election to drag former President Donald Trump to court over curious claims that the Trumps exaggerated or deflated the value of their properties for tax purposes.

However, just least week, two of the prosecutors leading the New York Trump inquiry resigned – suggesting that the case may not have a future. Their unexpected resignation indicated that the inquiry was struggling to prove that former President Donald Trump, his children, and his team broke any laws.

The two prosecutors who resigned, Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne, submitted their resignations when the new Manhattan District Attorney Alvbin Bragg told them that he wasn’t entirely sure they had a case against the former president.

So not only might the testimonies be delayed, but the whole case may still be thrown out.
