Trump Exposes Obama-Weinstein Links, “Michelle Loved Harvey”

( – President Donald Trump, in true Donald Trump style, recently took the Obamas to task for their support and friendship with convicted Hollywood rapist, Harvey Weinstein.

During a press conference in India, where the president is receiving state visit treatment, Trump references former First Lady Michelle Obama’s personal relationship with the once-famed movie producer. The president noted that he was a regular guest of the Obamas at the White House, as well as a large donor to the Democratic Party.

“I will say the people who liked him were the Democrats. Michelle Obama loved him, loved him,” he said.

The president even dragged former First Lady Hillary Clinton into it, accurately referencing her own personal relationship with the convicted sex offender.

“Hillary Clinton loved him, and he gave tremendous money to Democrats,” he added.

President Donald Trump also described how he was “never a fan of Harvey Weinstein,” adding “In fact, he said he was going to work hard to defeat me in the election.”

True, and true!

The comments come after Harvey Weinstein was convicted by a jury of five women and seven men of a criminal sex act in the first degree. Weinstein’s conviction could carry a sentence of up to 25 years. The jury also found him guilty of raping a woman in a hotel in 2013.

President Donald Trump called the conviction of Weinstein “a great victory” for women and said that it “sends a very strong message” to men with authority, particularly in the entertainment industry, who abuse that power.

The comments made by the president are not an exaggeration. Video uncovered earlier this week showed Michelle Obama publicly praising Weinstein as a “wonderful human being” and calling him a “good friend” and a “powerhouse.” The footage has been available publicly for a number of years but took media outlets until now to note its significance.

Anti-Trump, liberal activist Whoopi Goldberg can be seen smiling in the background.

The comments were made during a White House event hosted in 2013 before the allegations were made public. However, if the #MeToo campaign achieved anything, it was noting the fact that many celebrities and people in power were aware of the abuse committed by Weinstein but purposely looked the other way.

Did Michelle know?
