Tom Hank’s Son Reveals Disturbing Details About Growing Up In Liberal Hollywood

( Chet Hanks, the 31-year-old son of actor Tom Hanks, has revealed some of the dark truth about growing up as the son of two famous people. His mother is actress, singer, and producer Rita Wilson.

On a video uploaded to his personal YouTube account, Chet went in-depth about his childhood. He described how he was “blessed” to be part of a loving family but said that growing up with famous parents was a “double-edged sword.”

He described how there are many great advantages, being able to do fun things, travel the world, enjoy nice hotels and even fly on private planes. He said he’s not shy to admit that he wouldn’t change that and he feels “blessed” for it – but that there are also many problems that come with it.

One example he gave was that his friends and peers would often be jealous, and that peoples’ perceptions of him were often shaped by what they knew about his parents.

“My experience was even more complicated because on top of fame already being toxic, I wasn’t even famous,” he said in the video.

Now a father of one, Chet sad that he experienced a “self-destructive” streak when he was younger but that he is now focusing on positivity and his own family life rather than “partying” and “anger.”
