The West May Trigger WWIII By Allowing Ukraine to Attack Russia, Putin Official Says

Top allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin believe that the West’s continuous support of Ukraine in the Russia-Ukraine war can trigger World War III.

Sergei Chemezov, the CEO of an arms manufacturing facility, Rostec corporation, which is keeping Russian soldiers equipped with the latest weaponry, noted that the West is consistently provoking Russia with its support of Ukraine, which can result in a wider global conflict.

Chemezov also accused the United States of fueling the conflict by supplying weapons to Ukraine and allowing them to use these weapons to attack major Russian cities.

These comments came at a time when the Ukrainian military revealed that they used American weapons to launch an offensive in Russia’s Kursk region, which has helped them capture some major parts of the city after staging the first-ever major invasion of Russia since World War II.

Chemezov, who also served in the Russian security forces during the Cold War, further warned that the US is not aware of how dangerous this war could turn out for them should the situation escalate.

Chemezov dismissed the notion that the Western sanctions against Russia have resulted in empty shelves in Russian markets as he invited everyone to visit the Russian markets and see the reality themselves.

In fact, he thanked the West for pulling out its companies from Russia, which has given an “opportunity” to local Russian companies like his Rostec corporation to do business.

Chemezov indicated that his country had passed a hard time and learned a much-needed lesson that Western countries cannot be trusted to do business.

Putin has already noted that he would allow his forces to deploy missiles in striking distance of the Western world if the US-backed allies continue to allow Ukraine to use their weapons for an offense against Russia. However, the west, particularly the US, has downplayed these remarks, stating that the Russian interpretation of the war is essentially flawed and their invasion of Ukraine is nothing more than an unjustified land grab.

Putin also believes that the West helped Ukraine in invading the Kursk region, something which the US has denied.

Seeing the recent developments in the Russia-Ukraine war, some top analysts in the US, including former CIA officials, are also raising alarm bells that the stakes of a large-scale conflict between the US and Russia are getting higher, which can push the world into mayhem if the situation does not deescalate immediately.
