WME Controversy Surrounds Meghan Markle

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, finds herself at the center of a Hollywood controversy as rumors circulate about her status with William Morris Endeavor (WME), one of the entertainment industry’s leading talent agencies. Despite WME’s firm denial, speculation persists that Markle has been dropped by the agency due to her reportedly demanding behavior.

A representative from WME stated, “WME continues to represent Meghan and Archewell,” referring to Markle’s foundation. However, industry insiders paint a different picture, suggesting that Markle’s relationship with the agency has become strained.

Reports from various sources within Hollywood describe Markle as challenging to work with.

And the Royal Family would probably agree…

One insider claimed told Hollywood Reporter, “Everyone’s terrified of Meghan. She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice.” Such allegations have fueled speculation about the true nature of her professional relationships.

“She’s absolutely relentless. She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears,” another source alleged.

Past Controversies Resurface

The current situation has brought previous allegations of bullying back into the spotlight. Jason Knauf, a former Palace Press Chief, had raised concerns about Markle’s treatment of staff in an internal email.

“I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year… The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights,” Knauf wrote.

While Buckingham Palace investigated these claims, the findings were not made public. Markle has consistently denied all bullying allegations, describing them as a “calculated smear campaign.”

Amidst the controversy, Markle’s upcoming projects face uncertainty. Her new Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” is set to launch on March 4. However, products from her rebranded lifestyle business, now called “As Ever,” will not be ready for sale when the show debuts.
