Ron DeSantis Responds Amid Rumors Of Rift With Donald Trump

( Popular Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis had some advice for podcaster Joe Rogan recently, telling him never to apologize to far-left radicals who want him kicked off Spotify.

Responding to the manufactured controversy about Rogan using the N-word in previous episodes of his show – despite not using the term in a derogatory way – Governor DeSantis told Fox News Digital that Rogan should never have apologized in the way that he did.

“No, he shouldn’t have apologized. I mean, you see what happens? The mob will come after people, and they’re targeting Rogan because he’s threatening to upset the apple cart on some of the things that they’re holding dear,” he said.

Rogan had issued a sincere apology on his Instagram account not just in response to his past use of the N-word, but for his decision to host doctors, academics, and medical experts who question the official narrative on COVID and COVID lockdowns.

“And with COVID, he’s just bringing opposing views,” DeSantis said about Rogan’s podcast. “He’s letting people decide.”

He suggested that the reason Rogan is receiving so much of a backlash is that legacy outlets fear the fact that Rogan reaches so many more people than they do.

“What I would say is don’t given an inch, do not apologize, to now bow the mob,” he said.

That’s solid advice.
