Putin’s Blame of Ukraine For Bombing Of Right-Hand Man’s Daughter Makes No Sense

(JustPatriots.com)- The 19FortyFive website reports that the case involving the Saturday night vehicle explosion in Moscow that killed a well-known ultranationalist and hawkish commentator has reportedly been solved, according to Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB).

Daria Dugina, 29, was killed in a premeditated car bombing attack on a Moscow highway. She was the daughter of Aleksandr Dugin, a lifelong supporter of imperialist Russia who has called for intensifying attacks against Ukraine. In hawkish and ultranationalist groups, Dugina was well-known as a commentator who openly supported the invasion of Ukraine.

She frequently made appearances on Russian state television and vociferously backed what Russia refers to as its “special military operation” in Ukraine. When the explosion happened, she had just driven home from a festival with her father in a Toyota Land Cruiser.

According to Andrei Krasnov, who knew Dugina, her father was likely the intended victim because the car belonged to him. This information was provided to the Russian state-run news agency TASS. The two decided to transfer cars at the last second. In pictures taken at the incident, her father could be seen cradling his head in his hands and watching the SUV burn.

The FSB has informed Russian state-run media channels that Ukrainian intelligence employed a woman contractor to carry out the assassination. Midway through July, this female contractor arrived with her child.

The woman, Natalia Vovk, and her 12-year-old daughter Sofya Shaban rented an apartment in the same complex as Dugina to become familiar with her everyday activities. They traveled in a Mini Cooper with three sets of plates.

When the two entered Russia, the vehicle had a Donetsk People’s Republic license plate, E982XH DPR; in Moscow, it had a Kazakhstan license plate, 172AJD02; and when they left, a Ukrainian license plate, AH7771IP; when they entered Estonia shortly after the bombing. The FSB reported that the Investigative Committee had received the investigation’s documents.

Vovk allegedly put an explosive device on the Land Cruiser before attending the music festival “Tradition,” according to the FSB. She followed the car, exploded a bomb under her control, and then promptly fled to Estonia via the Pskov region, according to the FSB.

Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, stated that Moscow would blame Kyiv’s “state terrorism” policies for the vehicle bombing. Ukraine has denied having anything to do with the incident.

Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak says Ukraine had nothing to do with it.

Killing Dugina or her father goes against Ukrainian policy, especially after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned to prepare for Russian escalation attacks on August 24. It would be acting in the opposite light to assassinate so in the open, especially with a prominent but unimportant target.
