Psaki Refuses to Say if Biden Will Apologize for Defaming Rittenhouse

( During the 2020 election, the Biden campaign made the executive decision to defame 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse as a White Supremacist militia member.

Now, it certainly wasn’t because nobody had seen the video footage that showed Rittenhouse getting attacked by the white men he shot. It was widely available by the time the Biden team decided to accuse him of white supremacy. No, the campaign chose to defame Kyle Rittenhouse to score a political hit against Donald Trump. It was a reckless and stupid decision.

And it wasn’t just the campaign ad put out by his team that lumped Rittenhouse in with white supremacists. Joe Biden did it himself. Shortly after the incident in Kenosha, Joe Biden accused Kyle Rittenhouse of being a member of an Illinois militia group and attacked Donald Trump for refusing to say “one negative thing about white supremacists.”

But don’t expect the White House or President Biden to offer up any kind of apology for this defamation.

During her daily press briefing on Tuesday, Jen Psaki was asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy if President Biden would apologize to Kyle Rittenhouse.

Rather than answer the question, Psaki launched into a bit of Trump-bashing, claiming that the ad that included images of Rittenhouse was used to highlight President Trump’s refusal to condemn white supremacists. Psaki then accused Donald Trump of encouraging white supremacists “throughout his presidency.” Then she claimed that we’ve seen “the tragic consequences” of Trump refusing to condemn white supremacy when people take the law “into their own hands instead of allowing law enforcement to do its job.”

Ah, okay. Because Trump wouldn’t condemn white supremacists, Kyle Rittenhouse took the law into his own hands instead of letting the police do their job because he was responding to Trump’s refusal to condemn white supremacists. Sounds like Jen Psaki just defamed Rittenhouse again.

Nope. No apology is coming.

Every claim in her statement is a lie, by the way. Donald Trump consistently condemned white supremacy long before that ridiculous debate.

But it’s one thing to lie about your political opponent, quite another to slander a private citizen in the process.

The irony here is while complaining about Trump refusing to condemn white supremacists, Jen Psaki is refusing to condemn the defamation of a 17-year-old boy. That irony will be lost on Jen.
