(JustPatriots.com)- Pope Francis stunned seminarians in Barcelona when he began hurling expletives after tossing away his prepared speech for being “boring,” according to Church Militant. Testimonies from the soon-to-be-priests allege that Francis ranted against “f***ing careerists who f*** up the lives of others.”
He also allegedly criticized “those who climb to show their a**,” according to Daily Compass. The priests-in-training were also stunned when Francis claimed that they should never deny absolution to penitents in the confessional for whatever reason.
The witnesses say that when the pontiff went to visit them on December 10, Francis tossed away his prepared speech, saying that he would prefer the seminarians to ask him questions. The pope’s speech was sent to the Vatican Press Corps and strikes a very different tone than his off-the-cuff comments.
Some remarks included in the speech remind the seminarians that when they become priests their “first obligation will be a life of prayer born of gratitude.” It also reminded them to “never extinguish that fire which will make you fearless preachers of the Gospel, dispensers of divine treasures.”
Spanish website Germinans Germinabit reported that the media took up words that the pope never spoke and was provided with comments from the Holy See. The outlet also reports that they collected a full account of the pope’s crude address from witnesses. In one response to a seminarian, Francis suggested that they must not be clerical but forgive everything, even when someone confessing has no intention to repent. He added that priests who deny absolution are “delinquents.”
Pope Francis allegedly turns into a different figure when the cameras are not on him, according to Sire, Fr. Peter Hans Kolvenbach, former superior general of the Jesuits. Francis becomes arrogant and dismissive of others, and his ill-temper is reportedly known to everyone throughout the Vatican.
