Peter Doocy Asks Jen Psaki How ‘Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’ is Real if They Both Still Got Covid, Gets Obvious Answer

( Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy once again stepped up and stopped White House Press Secretary from getting off easy on difficult political issues, sparring with Jen Psaki over President Joe Biden’s continued and inaccurate claim that this is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

Doocy, who made a name for himself sparring with Psaki in an effort to get straight answers, reminded Psaki that she is fully vaccinated and boosted, just like Doocy, but that they both recently contracted COVID.

“Why is the president still referring to this as a pandemic of the unvaccinated?” he asked.

Psaki responded with the usual line about how people who contract COVID-19 despite being vaccinated usually have less serious symptoms than those who haven’t been vaccinated – and she backed it up with uncited statistics.

“You are seventeen times more likely to go to the hospital if you’re not vaccinated, twenty times more likely to die,” she claimed. She did not, however, mention the variables that dictate whether a person is seriously harmed by a COVID infection – namely, BMI and comorbidities.

She continued:

“So yes, the impact for people who are unvaccinated is far more dire than those who are vaccinated,” she said.

Even if that is true, and perhaps it is, how does that answer Doocy’s question?

Why is President Joe Biden still claiming that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated when vaccinated people are contracting and spreading the disease every day and in record numbers?

When asked whether Biden would update his language to reflect this, Psaki doubled down on her narrative that vaccinated people have more mild symptoms.

Why won’t the president let people choose to take the risk with a COVID infection instead of taking a vaccine?
