(JustPatriots.com)- CNN published a story last week reporting that members of the Biden presidential campaign repeatedly emailed Facebook warning about “violent campaign-related rhetoric” the Trump campaign was allegedly posting on the social media platform.
CNN obtained a trove of emails exchanges between the Biden campaign and Facebook showing Team Biden demanding something be done about Team Trump’s “misinformation.”
The gist of CNN’s article is to point out how little Facebook did to bend to the will of the Biden team and, as a result, January 6 happened.
Yes, CNN is portraying the Biden people as tireless heroes wanting to stop something bad from happening and Facebook as the silly fools who ignored their repeated pleas.
What CNN fails to grasp is these email communications between one of the two presidential campaigns and Facebook reveal something far more insidious. The Biden campaign team was seeking help in censoring their political opponent.
The article quotes from the emails quite extensively – with the Biden campaign team claiming videos and posts from Trump campaign accounts were inciting violence, encouraging “voter suppression” or peddling misinformation about voter fraud.
And by “voter suppression,” Team Biden means a video of Don Junior encouraging Trump supporters to become poll-watchers in their precincts. The use of the word “army” in Don Junior’s description gave Team Biden the vapors. It’s militaristic, don’t you know. Therefore, to their thinking, Don Junior was calling in troops to attack voters.
It’s laughable, really. But not to CNN.
When Facebook refused to comply to the Biden campaign’s demands to silence their opposition, Team Biden accused Facebook of lacking “seriousness and a sense of mission.”
One wonders if the “mission” lacking was the “mission” to more actively help the Biden campaign.
Then the CNN articles shifts to the 3-hour melee at the Capitol – their so-called “Insurrection” – claiming that if only Facebook had done what the Biden campaign demanded, January 6 would not have happened.
It quotes a DNC official named Timothy Durigan who all but claims this is the case. After complaining about Facebook’s role in “the Big Lie” and the “Capitol Insurrection,” Durigan whines that the DNC “repeatedly warned Facebook that its inaction would undermine American democracy and fuel violence. Those warnings went unheeded.”
CNN’s underlying message is clear: Facebook had better do as the Democrats demand and silence their political opponents, or there will be another “insurrection.”
The unspoken message CNN didn’t mean to convey is just as clear: CNN wants to make sure Facebook does a better job colluding with Democrats in the upcoming Midterms and 2024 Presidential race.
