MSNBC Host Says “Another Country” May Need To Monitor U.S. Elections

(JustPatriots.com)- On Monday, Nicolle Wallace of MSNBC pondered whether or not it is time for the United States of America to approach one of our international partners for assistance in assuring the safety of our elections.

Fifteen days before the midterms, the host of Deadline: White House welcomed Representative Jim Himes (Democrat, Connecticut) to discuss the integrity of the voting process.

Himes stated that the United States’ geopolitical opponents, including China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, had “an interest in influencing our elections.”

He stated that we are aware of what Russia did in 2016, including establishing bogus accounts and purchasing advertisements on social media platforms. The domestic stuff gives him more cause for concern than the intelligence committee does.

After that declaration, Wallace suggested bringing officials from a foreign nation to “watch” elections in the United States.

Wallace said she didn’t want to get too far off-topic, but if you read through the news on the weekend, you’d see that the threats to our elections are so prevalent, and they’re so grave, and they include violence.”

Himes disagreed with the concept by saying, “I’m not there, and I know why you’re asking what you’re asking, and you’re not incorrect.”

He said the intimidation threatened in the vicinity of polling locations is a problem. He surmised that Wallace had probably seen the photographs of the men holding assault rifles while standing next to crates. “That is Intimidating,” Himes said.

He concluded that this is something that we need to figure out for ourselves, and at some point, the United States is going to have to come to a collective decision that not only are we going to oppose the Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, and Iranians messing around with our elections, but we are also not going to allow the Republican Party to do it.

It’s disturbing to hear the left talk about intimidation and the need for election integrity as if this is a problem that comes solely from the right.

It seems the best defense is a good offense. And they are pretty offensive.
