Mike Pence Announces It’s Time For Biden To Go After China

(JustPatriots.com)- Former Vice President Mike Pence is calling on President Joe Biden to finally do something about China, urging the White House on Wednesday to build on the Trump administration’s more aggressive approach to tackling China’s expansionist tactics.

During an event hosted by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation, former Vice President Pence outlined a number of steps that he urged President Joe Biden to take that would get tough on the Chinese Communist Party. Pence argued that the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, and the fact that China continues to commit human rights abuses, are just two important reasons why the U.S. needs to take action now.

The recent speech is the first of a number of speeches Pence is expected to make in the coming months, as the former Vice President aims to increase his public image.

Since the election, the former vice president and former President Donald Trump have not been seen together – and while both have publicly disagreed with one another on the matter of election fraud, neither has had a bad word to say about the other.

Pence acknowledged in his speech that the Biden administration has kept at least a handful of Trump-era policies, including the tariffs on Chinese goods entering the United States. However, President Biden did recently suggest in a press briefing that he was planning on getting rid of those tariffs.

Pence warned that Biden needs to do much more to avoid the “emerging cold war with China,” and even suggested that the president should demand that the 2022 Winter Olympics be moved from Beijing over China’s treatment of the Uyghur Muslims, which has been described as a genocide.

The former vice president also said that there must be a decoupling of American economic interests from Chinese industries, saying that failure to do so would result in an increased dependence on Chinese goods…which is a benefit for China and a negative for the U.S.

Don’t you wish Trump and Pence were still in charge?
