Mike Lindell Says Ron DeSantis Is Compromised

(JustPatriots.com)- MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was spotted ranting about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis while at the Conservative Political Action Conference last Thursday, accusing the popular Republican of being a “Trojan horse.”

This year’s CPAC conference outside of Washington DC was widely criticized by conservatives over its pro-Trump slant, with some attendees describing the once popular conservative conference as a 4-day Trump rally.

Most potential Republican presidential hopefuls did not attend last week’s conference, including Governor DeSantis. The only non-Trump 2024 candidates or potential candidates to speak at CPAC this year were Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Despite the media’s endless attacks on the Florida Governor over the past two years, Mike Lindell, a loyal Trump supporter, claimed in his rant that the media was “covering up” for Governor DeSantis. He warned that people should not believe what the media writes about DeSantis. And since the media frequently describes DeSantis as a “fascist,” that was probably good advice.

Lindell also claimed that DeSantis did nothing to stop Disney. However, last Monday, the governor signed a bill that ends Disney’s self-governing status and replaces it with a state-controlled district.

Much of Lindell’s criticism of DeSantis echoed the attacks launched on social media by Trump operatives who are attempting to smear the most popular elected Republican in the country as a RINO and “globalist.”

While Governor DeSantis has not yet announced whether he will seek the Republican nomination in 2024, he is viewed as a major threat to former President Trump’s quest to retake the White House after losing in 2020.

State primary polling shows DeSantis leading Trump in several states, including delegate-rich states like California, Texas, and New York.

DeSantis is currently touring the country promoting his book “The Courage To Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival,” including a stop on Sunday at the Reagan Library.
