Migrant Program Shut Down After Widespread Fraud Detected

Following allegations of systemic fraud, the Biden-Harris administration has put an end to a contentious program that enabled monthly direct air travel into the United States for tens of thousands of migrants from four different nations.

The Biden-Harris administration’s use of parole has been criticized by some as unlawful, and the DHS has temporarily halted the practice that permits up to 30,000 CHNV migrants to enter the United States monthly.

A congressional investigation uncovered large amounts of fraud in applications for those sponsoring the applicants. The report mentioned that there are concerns with the filings of program supporters rather than the beneficiaries themselves.

The agency is “very serious” about preventing system misuse, according to a department official.

The spokesman asserted that as soon as fraud is discovered, ICE would begin investigating the matter, litigating relevant cases in immigration court, and referring any relevant cases to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. While it reviews applications from supporters, DHS has temporarily halted the granting of advanced travel authorizations for new recipients out of a sense of caution. With the necessary precautions in place, DHS will resume application processing without delay.

Applicants’ forms contained hundreds of previously used phone numbers, addresses, and social security numbers.

According to FNC, an internal study revealed that 3,218 sponsors were identified as “serial sponsors” who filled out 100,948 applications. There were 24 numbers out of 1,000 that were associated with a deceased individual, according to the report. Over 19,000 forms made use of 100 actual addresses, with usage ranging from 124 to 739 times. Storage units were among the addresses listed. Over two thousand forms had one sponsor’s phone number listed, and 2,839 forms had sponsor zip codes that did not exist, as revealed in the leak.

Republican Congressman Mark Green of Tennessee said the finding reveals the falsehoods spread by government officials on the thoroughness and quality of the screening procedure, adding that it applies to both inadmissible aliens seeking admission and their sponsors.

In order to avoid the “political embarrassment and bad optics of overrun borders,” Green claimed that the Biden-Harris mass-parole scheme was established illegally.

In addition to Biden and Harris, former DHS acting secretary Chad Wolf deemed the Biden-Harris scheme unlawful.
