Matt Gaetz Calls Out Biden Publicly

( Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz asked Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures” last week whether President Joe Biden was already being phased out in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris…and it’s looking increasingly difficult for Democrats to say he’s wrong.

Gaetz argued that Biden wasn’t at the forefront of foreign policy in the White House (except for new wars and military action) and said that the “transition” from a Biden White House to a Harris White House was already underway.

“You have to wonder whether or not the transition to Harris has already begun,” he said. “Joe Biden’s had more nap time than he’s had questions from reporters. And you’re right. While the Middle Kingdom grows more ambitious in their goals, we are still toiling away in the Middle East. Joe Biden has had more attacks on Syria than he’s had press conferences.”

Joe Biden broke a century-old record last week after passing 42 days since entering the White House without holding a single press conference. Since then, President Biden has still not held a single press conference and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that she was unaware of any plans for the president to hold one in the coming weeks or months.

Gaetz said he would ask progressive voters if this is what they expected.

“Is this what you wanted, a warmonger president like Joe Biden, when Donald Trump did so much to bring peace to the world and to actually confront the real threat, China, not to be trying to build democracies out of blood and sand and Arab militias in some desert far away?” he asked.

His comments came after Harris reportedly spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone on Thursday while President Joe Biden spoke to House Democrats in a virtual conference call. Biden was quickly cut off from the live feed after delivering a short teleprompter-led address after he went off script and asked if anybody wanted to ask any questions.

“Vice President Kamala Harris spoke today by phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, and underscored the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to the U.S.-Israel partnership,” a statement from the White House read.

Harris recently even discussed foreign policy with French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

At this rate, President Joe Biden might not even make it until the end of the year before Harris takes over.
