Lawmaker Says AOC And “The Squad” Are “Just So Disconnected”

Rep. Mayra Flores, R-Texas, addressed the gap between Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the nation on “The Ingraham Angle” by asserting that Washington, D.C., politicians think their lives revolve around them.

Flores says that AOC represents neither Texas District 34, the Hispanic population, nor the locals. Additionally, Latino people are unconcerned by the Washington idiocy. They are worried about the cost of life, gas, food, and medical care. That is the worry they live with every day. They don’t get out of bed and think about what’s happening in Washington. How disconnected are the likes of AOC?  Flores said it’s sad. They have the false impression that Washington, D.C., is the center of the universe.

Flores said that T\the cartel now has the upper hand. You cannot cross illegally unless you pay tens of thousands of dollars. Women and children are also coming into the country. However, numerous criminals and terrorists are also entering our country and putting the American people in peril. Americans have a serious problem, and she blames the Biden administration for it.

She was born in Mexico, is just 36 years old, and cast her vote for Barack Obama in 2008. But South Texan Mayra Flores recently won a place on a Republican congressional ticket. In her 84 percent Hispanic district, she won a special election in June, turning it red for the first time in more than 150 years. It is upsetting, which Flores enjoys.

With growing inflation and declining support (39 percent) for President Joe Biden, Democrats face challenging midterm elections in 2022 due to Flores’ ascent to stardom. Although Flores’ time will probably be brief since she must compete against

a popular Democrat incumbent in a redistricted race in November, her victory raises severe concerns about how dangerous it would be to presume that Latinx voters would back a Democratic candidate in 2024.

She says that voters in District 34 are understanding that we no longer need to grovel to Nancy Pelosi for scraps. According to a statement on her campaign website, the Democratic Party has taken South Texas’ longstanding allegiance and support for granted for more than 100 years.

Many non-Hispanics, like Elon Musk from Texas (who voted Republican for the first time” to support Flores), are among the innumerable Tejanos and non-Hispanics who support her.
