Lauren Boebert Tells Washed Up Singer To Leave America

( In an op-ed in honor of Juneteenth, has-been singer Macy Gray attacked the American flag as “tattered, dated, divisive and incorrect.” Gray declared that it was time for America to get a new flag that “represents ALL of us” because the stars and stripes “no longer represents democracy and freedom.”

Gray compared the American flag to the Confederate flag and claimed it wasn’t fair to “be forced to honor it.”

In her op-ed, Gray pleaded with President Biden, Kamala Harris and “members of Congress” saying the flag has been hijacked as “code for a specific belief.”

This is becoming a common talking point among the radical Left.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe earlier this month, New York Times editor Mara Gay claimed the sight of American flags flying in Long Island were “just disturbing.” Gay, in a similar vein as Macy Gray, believed the flag had been coopted by people who equate “Americanness” with “Whiteness.”

Macy Gray, however, had a solution to this “tattered, dated and divisive” flag, offering a design upgrade she thinks better “represents ALL of us.”

Rather than 50 stars, Gray argued, there should be 52 – in order to include Washington DC and Puerto Rico. She griped that opposition to DC and Puerto Rican statehood was rooted in racism because any politicians elected from there would be black or Hispanic.

Gray also demanded that rather than white stripes, the flag should feature “OFF-white” because, you know, white = white supremacy. She also believes the stars should be changed from white to various skin-tone colors to represent a “melanin scale.”

If she is advocating for a skin-color related color scheme, it sounds more like Macy Gray is the racist here.

In reacting to Gray’s lunatic op-ed, Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert delivered the best response possible tweeting “There are 195 countries in the world. 194 of them don’t have the American flag,” adding if Macy Gray, “or anyone else” hates the flag that much, “they should pick a flag they like and go live in the country that flies it!”

Macy can take Maya Gay with her when she leaves.
