(JustPatriots.com)- Last week, after the Supreme Court upheld Mississippi’s 15-week abortion law and overturned Roe v. Wade, the usual blue-check Leftists on Twitter erupted in fury, with open calls of violence, threats against the conservative justices, and demands that the Supreme Court be destroyed.
One of the most unhinged among them was former MSNBC host, Keith Olbermann.
Olbermann, whose unhinged Twitter rants are never in short supply, took to Twitter to demand that the Supreme Court be “dissolved” and called on states to defy the Court’s ruling.
The Court’s ruling was to send the issue of abortion back to the states. How do states defy that?
The uninformed Olbermann claimed that by sending abortion back to state legislatures where it belongs, the Supreme Court was imposing the religious beliefs of the minority on the majority of the country.
Again, the Court’s decision leaves the issue of abortion to the voters and the legislators they elect. How does that impose the religious beliefs of the minority on anybody? It doesn’t. Instead, it opens the door for the democratic process to determine abortion laws in each state.
Then again, Olbermann wasn’t the only Leftist on Twitter who had no earthly idea what he was talking about. Most of them seemed to think the Supreme Court outlawed abortion.
Olbermann also demanded called on states to ignore the Court’s ruling.
Okay, so the Court rules that states should decide on abortion law. It ceded authority to the states. That’s a good thing. Why would Olbermann want states to “ignore” the Court ceding authority to them?
Well, the answer is obvious.
Keith Olbermann has no idea what he’s talking about. It isn’t as if he read the Court’s decision or has even a passing acquaintance with the facts.
Like most of the angry Leftists, Olbermann’s spittle-flying tirade is against what he assumes happened, not what actually happened.
Now, some of the Leftists who are making wild claims about last Friday’s decision know they’re lying about what the Supreme Court ruling did. But they believe fearmongering over the decision is their ticket to Democrat victory in November.
But Keith Olbermann isn’t one of them.
He’s just deeply stupid and unstable.
