(JustPatriots.com)- Vice President Kamala Harris is already the least popular vice president in modern American history, according to polls of average American voters, but it looks as though her own staff are unhappy with her too.
The Hill reports that the vice president’s office appears to be undergoing a total “reset” after experiencing a “difficult year.:”
This so-called “reset” – which is probably better described as an exodus of Harris staff – includes the departure of Symone Sanders. One of the most recognizable names in her office, Sanders was a campaign official during the 2020 presidential race and has long been a loyalist to Harris. But reports suggest that she’s leaving the office because of arguing among staff, communications office squabbles, and a long string of bad press that she just doesn’t want to be connected to anymore.
Several other members of Harris’ staff are leaving, too. Peter Velz, the director of Press Operations, is on his way out along with Vince Evans, the deputy director of the VP’s Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs.
A Democratic operative who is familiar with the vice president’s office, and who chose to remain anonymous, told The Hill that they “had to turn over the office” because there is “too much dissatisfaction.”
Remember that rumors that Kamala Harris was bullying her staff members and creating a hostile work environment? Perhaps this all has something to do with this sudden mass exodus…
And as this all happens, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the Democrats don’t consider Harris to be the “heir apparent” when it comes to the next presidential race.
If President Joe Biden doesn’t run again in 2024 because of his age, then will Kamala Harris really be able to snatch up the nomination when she can’t even keep her staff on board for a single year?
When asked about Sanders’ departure, Harris kept a straight face and praised her, but didn’t offer any follow-up answers about questions on whether Sanders’ departure means her office is experiencing a “reset.”
Harris probably knows she’s screwing up…but she has three more years to get things right.
