(JustPatriots.com)- Meena Harris, the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris, published an op-ed in the Washington Post on Monday calling for Critical Race Theory to be taught in schools.
Critical Race Theory is a far-left ideology that teaches white people to be ashamed of themselves and their history and says that all white people are fundamentally racist oppressors no matter what they say, think, or do.
In the piece, Meena Harris wrote that America’s public schools have “long failed to acknowledge the history and realities of racism.”
She then claimed that the “recent right-wing crusade” against CRT, which she wrongly claimed people just don’t understand, is the “latest manifestation of that deeply rooted trend.”
Harris appeared to be peddling the lie that Critical Race Theory simply teaches people about racism, when it actually teaches that Black people are oppressed even in 21st Century America.
The fact that the niece of the vice president is making patently false claims in one of the biggest news outlets in the country, and might actually have some influence on the decisions being made in the White House by having easy access to the vice president, should be concerning to every single American – and particularly parents.
Critical Race Theory is being taught in schools across the country, and while Meena Harris publishes falsehoods about it and calls for it to be taught in all public schools, Attorney General Merrick Garland is siding against parents and treating them as “domestic terrorists” for opposing the idea.
