John Durham Text Message Discovery Implicates Hillary Clinton In “Conspiracy”

( Special Counsel John H. Durham disclosed a text message on Monday that purports to show that Michael Sussmann, a lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, lied to the FBI about accusations regarding candidate Donald Trump and Russia.

Some in the media call the text message a “smoking gun” since it appears to prove the charges against Sussman.

Sussmann is on trial for lying to the FBI because he pretended to be an ordinary concerned citizen rather than a Clinton campaign lawyer. His assertions that Trump has ties to Russia through Alfa Bank have been discredited as a fabrication.
Sussmann’s assertions that he hadn’t lied to the FBI are proven false by the unveiled text message.
As the filing notes, Sussman told the FBI that he had information that demonstrated covert communications between Trump and a Russian bank. Sussman falsely stated to the General Counsel that he wasn’t acting on behalf of any client and was simply a concerned citizen.
He also sent the following text: “Jim – it’s Michael Sussmann. I have something time-sensitive (and sensitive) I need to discuss. Do you have availibilty for a short meeting tomorrow? I’m coming on my own – not on behalf of a client or company – want to help the Bureau. Thanks.”
But it was discovered in Sussman’s billing records that he repeatedly billed the Clinton Campaign for his work on the Russian bank allegations.
Sussman had a second meeting where he once again lied. This time it was with Agency-2 agents. The Clinton lawyer repeated that he was not representing a specific client.
Durham summarizes that the evidence, public information, and expected testimony clearly established by a preponderance of the evidence that the Sussman and Tech Executive-1 (Rodney Joffe) worked in concert with each other and with Clinton Campaign agents to push the false Russian Bank-1 allegations.
For their alleged participation in the alleged conspiracy, neither Hillary Clinton nor her presidential campaign has been charged.
If summoned to testify at Sussman’s trial, Tech Executive-1, who John Durham alleges collaborated with the Clinton campaign to advance charges of Trump-Russia connection, says he will plead the Fifth.
