(JustPatriots.com)- The Biden administration is forcing diplomats to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), according to documents obtained by National Review. The news of the State Department’s program comes after Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the department’s “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Strategic Plan,” according to Daily Caller.
He said that the president has made it a national security imperative to prioritize DEIA.
“This strategic plan ensures we have the best team representing the American people abroad because it embodies and celebrates the full diversity and excellence of our country,” the statement reads.
To be eligible for promotion, the State Department is requiring that officials advance the woke agenda in order to receive tenure and promotion, according to a document National Review obtained called, “Decision Criteria for Tenure and Promotion in the Foreign Service.” It says that employees are expected to, “[take] advantage of opportunities to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in interactions with colleagues and interlocutors.”
Foreign officials are also expected to recognize how unconscious biases can affect the work environment. The statement continues, “Unconscious biases can affect decisions and actions and [take] steps to identify and mitigate them in the evaluation of others’ performance.”
The State Department appointed Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley as Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer in 2021.
The Department of Defense has also been on the receiving end of vitriol from lawmakers after several reports and servicemembers have come forward detailing the military’s ideological push. In August, the Air Force promoted the branch’s first “kid-friendly” drag show, according to a report from conservative magazine American Pigeon.
The U.S. military’s promotion of gender ideology can be seen even amid a most critical point during the beginning of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. As Russia invaded Ukraine, the Army was training soldiers on gender pronouns, transgender persons, and gender dysphoria, as seen in a presentation.
