(JustPatriot.com)- Reps. Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn’t do much for their image as America-hating extremists On Tuesday when they joined an online gaming event hosted by a vlogger who said last year that the United States deserved to be hit by the 9/11 terror attacks.
Hasan Piker, a Young Turks commentator, made the disgusting comment in August 2019 when reacting to a video clip of Rep. Dan Crenshaw talking to hugely popular podcast host Joe Rogan.
During a live stream hosted on Twitch, a popular gaming video platform, Piker mocked military veteran Crenshaw for having one eye.
“This guy has the understanding of foreign policy of, like, a 12-year-old. What the f*ck? What the f*ck is wrong with this dude? Didn’t he go to war and like literally lose his eye because some mujahideen, a brave f*cking soldier, f*cked his eye hole with their d*ck?” he said.
“Isn’t that how he f*cking lost his dumb*ss eye, because he got f*cking eye hole f*cked by a brave soldier?” he continued.
Later in that same live stream, Piker went even further, saying, “America deserved 9/11 dude. F*ck it, I’m saying it.”
Neither Rep. Ilhan Omar nor Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez addressed this fact, and instead very publicly took part in the gaming event with Piker. It drew a huge amount of adoring press for the two congresswomen connecting with hundreds of thousands of young, live viewers, and over 5 million viewers total.

Following his disgusting remarks about 9/11, Piker doubled down and claimed the United States was to blame for 9/11.
we supplied arms to and trained bin laden. we destabilized the region long before 911. and now we’re stuck in perpetual war, which dan crenshaw was trying to justify in that clip. it’s exactly this kind of attitude that has sent thousands of young men and women overseas to die.

AOC introduced Piker and others at the beginning of the event this week, describing it as an “amazing lineup” of people.
For the record, too – Dan Crenshaw actually lost his eye during his third deployment. He was injured when he was hit by an IED explosion during in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
