(JustPatriots.com)- There has been public pushback after it was revealed that Project Veritas is thinking of letting go of its founder, James O’Keefe. O’Keefe is currently on paid leave as the nonprofit organization deliberates his future, according to The Post Millennial.
Project Veritas took to Twitter ahead of the scheduled meeting between the board of directors last week, issuing a statement on the organization’s commitment to exposing corruption. The statement read that they have achieved a lot of success in the last three years and the best path forward is being considered by the board and management. The statement concluded by trying to reassure supporters that they will not be let down.

The rumor circulating around the situation is that O’Keefe is a perfectionist who allegedly stole another employee’s sandwich, according to The Post Millennial. But regardless of what may or may not be true, O’Keefe’s departure reportedly signals the end of the organization. Prominent conservative commentators also voiced their support for the founder with Daily Wire’s Candace Owens saying that without O’Keefe there is no Project Veritas.
According to one user who Owens responded to, a whistleblower reportedly came forward with information that O’Keefe has been stripped of all authority while placed on leave. The founder is allegedly a “victim of poor corporate structure,” which has the organization divided into two nonprofits, with one section being headed by a smaller board of directors with much more of the money.
The whistleblower alleges that two ringleaders are trying to oust O’Keefe and said that during a six-hour struggle session, the board subjected the founder to insults and derision, charging him with being a “tough boss to work for.”
The news comes as Project Veritas recently exposed corruption at Pfizer. Executive Director Daniel R. Strack issued a statement saying that O’Keefe has not been removed from Project Veritas.
