Government Insider Reveals That The “Deep State” Tried To Shut Trump Down

( Dr. Paul Alexander says that when then-President Donald Trump tried to deal with COVID-19 in 2020, the “swamp” or “deep state” was working against him by using false data to make him look bad, locking down society, and keeping schools closed.

Alexander, speaking on EpochTV’s “Facts Matter” show, asked if you could just imagine the president of the United States fighting against the teachers’ union, against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and his task force?
The doctor said that they did things to hurt him, so you had to be there to know what he meant when he talked about “the swamp” and the “deep state.” Alexander said it’s the government, and the bureaucracy is real and well-established.
From late March 2020 to early September 2020, Alexander was Michael Caputo’s scientific advisor at the Health and Human Services department. Caputo was then the assistant secretary for public affairs (HHS).
Alexander was criticized by the media and some health agency officials for trying to “tweak” the COVID-19 death numbers in the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

Alexander wrote in an email to Caputo and other officials on August 8, 2020-
“CDC to me appears to be writing hit pieces on the administration and meant at this time to impact school re-openings and they then send it to the media knowing it is deceiving. I ask it be stopped now! … Nothing to go out unless I read and agree with the findings how the CDC, wrote it and I tweak it to ensure it is fair and balanced and ‘complete.’ And not misleading.”

But some news outlets portrayed Alexander’s plan as an attempt to make people sick on purpose. They also said that Caputo spread false accusations and conspiracy theories in a Facebook video. In the end, Caputo and Alexander left because of pressure from the media and some government officials.
In 2020, HHS said that Caputo would be taking a medical leave of absence in Marche for 60 days and that Alexander would be leaving the department.

Alexander said that now everyone is talking about it, that the way the CDC reports to the public and shares data isn’t the best. It’s not finished. It doesn’t work out. Something is missing. So that’s exactly what he was trying to say two years ago and why he was attacked.

The New York Times reported on Feb. 20 that the CDC has been keeping critical COVID-19 data on boosters and hospitalizations. A CDC representative told the news outlet that one reason was that the agency was worried that the data could be misread, meaning that the vaccines didn’t work.
In March, the CDC quietly took down from its data tracker page 72,277 deaths that were said to have been caused by COVID-19. These deaths included 416 deaths of children.

Alexander said the CDC took 72,000 deaths off the list. He asks why. He put it this way- when Trump was president, the CDC worked with the NIH and the media to make the response terrible for him. Every day, it should look horrible. This is what they will do with the numbers. They would report that infections and cases were getting worse in any way.
But now, Alexanders says, in the current administration, they want to eliminate those deaths and those bad metrics because they make the current administration look bad. The truth is that more people died of COVID when Joe Biden was president than when Trump was.

The CDC said that the reason for the change was to improve the accuracy of the data.
A CDC representative told The Epoch Times that they constantly check COVID-19 data to ensure it’s correct. CDC’s algorithm counted deaths that weren’t related to COVID-19 by accident.

At the beginning of April 2020, the US reported more than 260,000 cases of COVID-19 and around 6,200 deaths. Trump said that starting April 1, 2020, it would be up to the state governments to decide whether or not to use lockdowns. The next day, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is in charge of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on CNN that the government should lockdown.

California was the first state to order a lockdown on March 20, 2020. By the end of May 2020, mandatory stay-at-home orders will have been given by 42 states and territories.

Alexander said that the lockdowns were based on bad numbers, and no studies have shown that they work. He said that they shut down society based on a wrong test 97 percent of the time, referring to the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test, which is still widely used to find out if a person has COVID-19.

The doctor said we had problems with how deaths were categorized, how COVID infections were categorized, and whether we had such a large number of infections, cases, or hospitalizations.
People have said that HHS made a mistake by changing the rules for writing death certificates so that COVID-19 became the leading cause of death. Many false-positive COVID-19 results from PCR tests approved for emergency use have also been blamed on the agency.

Alexander said the PCR test was causing trouble. They knew that the PCR tests had been run more than 24 times, and once you cycle over 24, 25, you pick up viral dust and viral junk, which are pathogens that are not infectious and do not live. In 2020 and 2021, PCR tests showed that most, maybe 90%, of the people who were said to be COVID-positive were not.

At the time, he also pushed for herd immunity to deal with the pandemic. He said that the only way to do this was to expose people who weren’t at high risk to the virus.
On July 21, 2021, the CDC said that it would stop asking for an emergency use authorization for the PCR test developed by the agency after December 31, saying that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had already permitted “hundreds” of other COVID-specific tests.

Alexander said they argued that this was never the emergency they made it out to be. We could have taken care of the weakest members of society and let the rest of society live everyday lives.
This month, a study showed that states like California, New York, and New Jersey, which had strict lockdowns and other restrictions, did not handle the pandemic well. Florida was one of the best states because it got rid of COVID-19 restrictions early.

Alexander said that Trump worked to make the world and schools more open. And he fought with that task force every day. What you saw was real, even though it looked like a clown car show.
Behind the scenes, Trump was fighting Fauci, Dr. Deborah Birx, the union, and the CDC to open schools because we were hearing young kids in America were killing themselves by hanging themselves. Children all over America killed themselves because their schools were closed.

Fauci told parents in July 2020 not to send their kids back to school for the fall semester. He said a study showed that kids over nine could spread the CCP virus just as well as adults. Later, the study’s authors put out a correction saying they couldn’t know which way transmission was going in their research.
Birx, who was the White House COVID-19 task force coordinator, told the media in August 2020 that if you have a high caseload and active community spread, “we are asking people to ‘distance learn’ right now, so we can get this epidemic under control.”

Dr. Scott Atlas, who used to be Trump’s special adviser on the coronavirus pandemic, said that only Birx, Fauci, and Dr. Robert Redfield, who was then the head of the CDC, could tell governors to put in place lockdowns.
Alexander said that we could have stopped this pandemic by protecting those who were most at risk and letting everyone else live a normal life, getting exposed naturally and harmlessly as part of their natural immunity.
That’s how it’s been done for the past 100 years. But we did something different with COVID. We shut down a healthy society.

Alexander said that he talked with some people from the State Department. They told him that Trump was just a guest there. He doesn’t get it that they are in charge. We, the bureaucracy, the deep state, run things here. The president only comes here to visit. We’re going to be here when he leaves.
“They think that way. And that is the whole point,” said Alexander.
