(JustPatriots.com)- In a recent interview from behind bars, Ghislaine Maxwell praised guys like Prince Andrew and former US President Donald Trump.
While incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, and the Federal Correctional Institute in Tallahassee, Florida, Maxwell spoke to filmmaker Daphne Barak. She reflected on life after and before her trafficking conviction and mentioned people like Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Prince Andrew. After being detained, Maxwell said Trump’s well wishes touched her.
Maxwell said she was pretty pleased that he would remember her and that he would wish her well. And his memories moved her deeply.
She continued by saying that his words gave her a “huge lift.” In June of this year, Maxwell was given a 20-year jail term for her part in the trafficking of underage girls. Attorneys for Maxwell have appealed her conviction.
When Maxwell was arrested in July 2020, Trump said that he didn’t know the circumstances of her case but insisted that he knew her.
Trump reportedly said, “I haven’t been watching it very closely,” as reported by the New York Times. “I simply wish her well,” Trump said.
Trump said since he resided in Palm Beach and believed they did; he’s had countless encounters with her over the years. “But whatever happens, I wish her the best,” he said.
According to the latest book by New York Times writer Maggie Haberman, Trump reportedly questioned if Maxwell told investigators anything about him when she was arrested.
Prince Andrew of the British Royal family was also praised by Maxwell, who referred to him as a “close friend.”
Virginia Giuffre filed a lawsuit against Andrew in August of last year, claiming that Maxwell and Epstein compelled her to be there when she was 17 and that Andrew had illicitly assaulted her. Before coming to a settlement with Giuffre, Andrew was obliged to renounce his royal title and responsibilities and was forced to deny the claims in the lawsuit.
Maxwell said that Andrew is “paying such a price” for his affiliation with Epstein and expressed concern for him by saying, “I care for him, and I feel so horrible for him.”
