(JustPatriots.com)- Well-known foreign policy expert, comedian John Oliver blasted former President George W. Bush’s statement condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In his statement, Bush called Putin’s invasion of Ukraine “unprovoked and unjustified.”
And for comedian John Oliver, that was a bridge too far coming from the President who launched an “unprovoked and unjustified” invasion of Iraq in 2003 on the false claim that there were weapons of mass destruction.
During the season 9 premiere of his weekly HBO show “Last Week Tonight,” Oliver told Bush to “shut the f**k up,” adding that he is the last person who should make that statement.
Oddly enough, Oliver didn’t seem to find anything wrong with former President Barack Obama’s statement condemning Putin’s invasion in which he claimed Putin’s actions were a violation of the “basic principles of human decency.”
You know, like killing children in drone strikes in the Middle East or launching a war to get rid of Gaddafi that turned Libya into a stateless slave market.
