(JustPatriots.com)- With the California recall a week away, a deeply panicked Gavin Newsom is pulling out all the stops to ensure the will of the people is stopped in its tracks.
Unlike standard elections which put limits on the amount of money an individual can donate, recall elections have no such limits for the elected official facing recall. And as a result, the very wealthy and powerful are forking over gobs of cash to save the deeply unpopular Newsom.
The new fundraising effort includes the formation of a committee called “Stop the Republican Recall.” This committee is flooding the zone with messaging painting the recall as a “Republican power-grab” launched by “far-right” extremists.
One of the biggest donors to “Stop the Republican Recall” is none other than Leftwing billionaire George Soros.
Last week Soros coughed up a half a million dollars to the effort making his total contribution to stop Newsom’s recall to a cool million.
The entire “Stop the Republican Recall” has been nothing but histrionic fearmongering and over-the-top portends of doom and gloom should Governor Hair Gel be recalled.
The entire Democrat establishment is in a blind panic over the recall effort, and they’re resorting to the typical hysteria Democrats are famous for.
Since “Stop the Republican Recall” was formed, the message has been that evil, extremist right-wingers, white supremacists and Q-Anon conspiracy theorists are behind the effort to recall Newsom. Newsom himself had the audacity to conflate the recall with the 3-hour riot at the Capitol on January 6.
Over the weekend, the shrill faux Indian Elizabeth Warren traveled to California to fearmonger on behalf of the embattled Governor. Before next Tuesday, both President Biden and Vice President Harris also plan to campaign against the recall.
But Soros isn’t even the biggest donor to the “Stop the Republican Recall” effort. The organization is bankrolled in large part by far-Left organizations, public sector unions and bigwigs in Hollywood and the Tech Industry.
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings forked over three million dollars to the effort. Mark Zuckerberg’s wife Priscilla Chan coughed up $750,000. And two local branches of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) donated a whopping $3,250,000 to save Newsom’s bacon.
Virtually every poll on next week’s recall is within the margin of error. According to FiveThirtyEight, an updated average of recall polling showed 48.8 percent oppose recalling Newsom while 47.6 percent support the recall.
