(JustPatriots.com)- During last Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered,” co-host Harris Faulkner apologized after breaking down in tears while the panel discussed the mass murder at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children and two adults dead.
After listing the names of some of the 19 children who were killed during Tuesday’s tragedy, co-host Kayleigh McEnany brought up a tweet Harris Faulkner had sent out the night before.
Faulkner tweeted a verse from the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus said to let the children come to Him because the “kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Faulkner, struggling to maintain her composure, explained that she hadn’t heard the verse read back to her. She said what she saw on social media the night before was heartbreaking and so many “felt so hopeless,” so she tweeted the verse hoping someone would see it.
As the discussion continued and the other co-hosts expressed their grief over the tragedy, Faulkner was seen repeatedly wiping away tears.
Finally, she apologized for losing her composure. Then she reminded co-host Trace Gallagher of when, after the Sandy Hook mass murder in 2012, she had told him “Never again,” adding, “Look at where we are.”
