Fox News Execs Visit Benjamin Hall in the Hospital for His Birthday

( Last week, Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox News president and executive editor Jay Wallace traveled to Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas to visit Fox reporter Benjamin Hall on his 40th birthday.

On March 15, Hall and his Fox News crew had been traveling by car in the town of Horenka outside of Kyiv when they came under mortar fire.

London-based Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and 24-year-old Fox consultant, Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova, were killed in the attack.

Benjamin Hall was severely wounded, losing a foot and part of his leg. He was also blinded in one eye.

Hall was successfully evacuated from Ukraine and was eventually transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center where he underwent multiple surgeries.

Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace visited Hall last Tuesday, bringing with them a large birthday card signed by everybody at Fox News.

According to Fox News, Hall asked Scott and Wallace to let his colleagues at Fox know that he is doing well and is looking forward to getting home to his wife and children.

Suzanne Scott described Hall’s recovery as “nothing short of remarkable,” and said he is looking forward to returning to work at Fox.
