(JustPatriots.com)- There is a conspiracy theory that a fugitive Chinese businessman funded efforts to rig the 2020 election with hundreds of thousands of dollars. He has collaborated closely with Steve Bannon and is the subject of a federal fraud investigation.
Information suggests that Guo participated in funding the propagation of fraudulent election fraud allegations in the days immediately following Trump’s defeat. Guo did not break the law by spending money on Trump initiatives. But Guo, a contentious character with numerous legal issues, has good reason to want Trump’s support.
A corporation owned by the exiled businessman Guo Wengui, The New Federal State of China, spent more than $400,000 to pay hundreds of Trump supporters to attend a protest on November 14, 2020, in Washington, D.C.
The New Federal State of China, launched in 2020 by Guo Guo and Bannon, purports to be a government-in-waiting, ready to replace the Chinese Communist Party, which Guo claims is poised to collapse. Guo’s backers aggressively supported Trump in 2020, promoting claims about Chinese influence over Hunter Biden and publishing sexually explicit material from his laptop. In 2021 Guo promoted the theory that Chinese hackers had switched votes from Trump to Biden. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating Guo Guangchang, the founder of the New Federal State of China (NFSC), for possible fraud and other wrongdoing. The SEC forced three companies linked to Guo to pay a $539 million settlement last year; the commission is continuing to investigate Guo personally.
Images from the November 14 rally in Washington show a mix of pro-Trump and anti-CCP supporters. One video montage shows trucks with displays that read “Uphold the Constitution” and “President Trump, American Hero.”
Billionaire Chinese tycoon Guo Wenbo filed for bankruptcy in February, saying he had no assets and up to $500 million in debt. Records show that a company that paid vendors for the November 14 rally wired $100,000 to a nonprofit run by pro-Trump lawyer Michael Wood in 2020. In a note accompanying the wire transfer, the person who sent it indicated it was for “DC RENTING.”
The claim is that the source of that money is Guo.
It must be repeated, Guo did not break the law by spending money on Trump initiatives.
