(JustPatriots.com)- Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Republican running for the Senate in Pennsylvania, talked with Charlie Kirk on Tuesday about how he feels about medically altered children.
Kirk said to Oz that he wanted to clear up a bit of confusion. He was trying to help people understand where Oz stood on medical procedures for children.
“I don’t think these procedures should be done on children,” Oz said.
Oz went on to say that just because he had guests on his long-running daytime talk show “The Dr. Oz Show” to talk about a wide range of topics “doesn’t mean he agreed with their position.”
He said his job was to speak up, which he did. But he’s been pretty clear on this issue, and he’s always been a strong supporter of making decisions based on science, not the perversion of science or the use of science as a weapon, but what does it tell us? What does it advise us to do?
He said when it comes to transgender issues, he’s in favor of not telling five-year-olds about complicated things. “After all, why teach a five-year-old algebra? They won’t understand it, “ he said.
Oz said similar things about the Green New Deal and energy policy, saying that “it’s not” based on science, even though many say it is.
He said if you look at the details, there is no way they will be able to do what they said they would do in the Green New Deal. They can’t do it in the time allotted, and to go one step further, the only way to get close to it right now is to sell America to China.
Oz said we should use clean energy sources while building green ones. He thinks that’s the way to go.
“It does not hurt the environment in any way. The opposite is true. If you look at what’s happening in California, you’ll have a better idea of what’s going on elsewhere,” he said.
Oz said that Covid-19 was an example of the country “being lied to.”
“I know that we were lied to, like when we were told that our kids should stay home from school because it was too dangerous to open, but schools in other countries stayed open. They didn’t look like they had any trouble. Oz said, “They love their kids.”
Oz said that these are ways we’ve messed with science, turned it into a weapon, and hurt the American people.
Oz said when he was a young boy, he asked his father, “Are we Republicans or Democrats?”
He said, “We’ll be Republicans.”
I asked, “Why?”
He said because the GOP has better ideas. “We should be the party with the best ideas.”
