Donald Trump Threatened After Appearance Scheduled

( Several far-left groups plan protests to march to the Austin Convention Center, where former President Donald Trump will speak as part of the American Freedom Tour.

One protest group is called “Trump Ain’t Welcome in Austin.”

The group encourages demonstrators to turn up at the conference center and inform Trump and event-goers they’re “not welcome in our community.”

The protests description states that Trump is still free two years after his failed coup attempt, traveling the country to promote hate, cruelty, and his miserable political career.

The ads for the protest say to make sure to bring anti-Trump, anti-racist, anti-fascist banners and posters! Bring your pals! “BYOG” means “bring your own guillotine.”

The protest’s Facebook page says, “Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.”
It’s a made-up term in faux Latin—a schoolboy’s jest, as revealed in both the novel and the series A Handmaid’s Tale- the story of the Dystopian society Gilead, which is ruled by a fundamentalist regime that treats women as property of the state. If it were an actual phrase, it would roughly translate to “don’t let the bastards grind you down.”

Planned Parenthood Texas is organizing the Bans Off Our Bodies demonstration only steps away from the Austin Convention Center, where Trump will speak.

Planned Parenthood wrote that they welcome all to join their efforts. They said that “we must act now,” not just to express support for abortion rights but also to show that we won’t back down.

New York, Boston, San Francisco, and other US cities are also participating in a countrywide “day of action.” against Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood also offers free bus trips from Dallas, Waco, Houston, and Fort Worth to Austin for people attending the demonstration.
On Saturday, the “Rally for Reproductive Rights” will begin across the street from the Planned Parenthood protest and march to the Austin Convention Center.

The Coalition Austin, a pro-abortion “social justice group,” organized the rally.

The group posted on Instagram that on May 14th, as others rise up for abortion rights across the country and Donald Trump and other vicious Republican fascists will be gathered at the Austin Convention Center – the same fascists fueling this patriarchal rampage on our rights – we will take our stand. Abortion on Demand Without Apology! We refuse to let the Supreme Court decimate our rights! Post Roe? Hell no!

They also wrote that these Republi-fascists need to GTFO.

In the end, it’s just noise, the same as it ever was.
