(JustPatriots.com)- Carl Cameron, a former top political correspondent for Fox News, spoke on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” on Tuesday to address the fallout from the shooting rampage that a white supremacist perpetrated in Buffalo. Cameron believes that it is time to start thinking about the possibility of sending specific current Fox contributors to jail.
Nicolle Wallace, the show host, had a hard time reconciling the reality that the gunman was the only one accountable for his acts with her hate of Tucker Carlson.
Wallace began her questioning with Cameron. She wanted to ask him what he felt was going on and what we saw. She said it should come as no surprise that she feels that the mass shooter is to blame for the brutality and horrific deeds carried out. It is also true that the philosophy of the mass shooter is similar to Tucker Carlson’s worldview. What happens at Fox News when something like this takes place?
Cameron said that he quit because of questions like these, and he said that was one of the reasons he decided to leave “that place” in the end.
Cameron then said that some individuals on Fox, probably including Carlson, ought to be sent to jail.
This took things well past eleven.
Cameron said that the whole idea that journalists with national and international exposure are putting together garbage of that nature is appalling.
In his opinion, the president has done an excellent job. He said we need a lot more from the left and the middle, and we need to look out because the Republicans have become the marketers of disinformation. When our two-party system is damaged like that, democracy is in severe jeopardy. Cameron feels It is time to actually start taking action, which may include naming names and sending some individuals to prison.
To Fox’s great relief, the First Amendment will serve as a shield against individuals such as Cameron. To MSNBC’s good fortune, the same First Amendment protects them from those like Cameron who want to be the last arbiters of what is and is not disinformation and shields them from those folks.
