(JustPatriots.com)- The Biden Administration’s track record for hiring Open Borders advocates continues apace.
Natalie Montelongo, the White House’s new Deputy Director for Political Strategy and Outreach probably should have scrubbed her Twitter feed the way RussiaGate conspiracy theorist Susan Hennessey did prior to taking a job in the Administration.
Alas, Montelongo didn’t have the forethought to do that.
Back in 2018, Montelongo was very vocal on Twitter in her support of the radical “Abolish ICE” movement that was amplified by many Congressional Democrats including “Squad” member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
In May of 2018, in response to the news that ICE might ramp up efforts in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, Montelongo tweeted, “This administration’s actions are not motivated by public safety concerns – they’re terrorizing immigrant communities. #ICE didn’t exist 15 years ago, it doesn’t have to exist now.”
In June 2018, in quote tweeting about protests outside of ICE in Portland, Montelongo tweeted “If you’re looking for a way to help – look up your nearest ICE office and shut-it-down.”
After her anti-ICE tweets were discovered and disseminated, Montelongo moved quickly to lock down her Twitter account – which is much like shutting the barn door after the horse escapes.
In 2019, Montelongo worked as national political director for Open Borders Democrat Julian Castro’s brief presidential campaign. And, like many in the Biden Administration, Montelongo also worked for the Obama Administration.
According to Forbes, border crossings in April skyrocketed to nearly 179,000 people. Border arrests are up 63% from April of 2019.
And remember, that’s not including the number of people who slip past border officials. There is no telling just how many people have successfully crossed the border into the United States so far this year, now that wall construction has ended and Border Patrol agents are spending more time processing illegal aliens who they do manage to apprehend.
Given the crisis at the border, the Biden White House choosing someone vociferously opposed to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement isn’t particularly encouraging – and it further exposes the lie that Joe Biden is a “moderate.”
