Democrat Congresswoman Linked To Child Abuse Ring

( Among the thirty Democrats who have decided not to run again in 2022 is California Congresswoman Jackie Speier.

Speier announced her retirement in November of last year after serving in Congress since 2009. Before joining the House, Speier had a long career in California politics, serving as a longtime member of California’s state legislature and, before that, a Democrat congressional aide.

In 1978, while working as a staff assistant for then-Congressman Leo Ryan of California, Speier was part of the delegation ambushed on an airstrip in Guyana on its way to visit the Jonestown cult. Congressman Ryan was killed and Speier was shot five times.

And according to a report in the National File, like many California Democrats, during her time in office, Speier has promoted non-profit groups and individuals that were subsequently embroiled in child sex scandals.

Speier, who represents a large segment of San Mateo County, had worked with members of the San Mateo County sheriff’s office who were caught up in an FBI sting called “Operation Dollhouse.”

In 2007, Sheriff Greg Munks and Undersheriff Carlos Bolanos were caught and detained inside a house operating as an underage brothel.

In 2011, Rep. Speier praised the work of Jim Fox whose group, First 5 San Mateo County is a child welfare group that frequently worked with convicted pedophile Dr. William Ayres.

Then again, William Ayres worked extensively for San Mateo County social service agencies in his role as a child psychologist. He was arrested in 2007 after it was learned Ayres was a serial child molester. In 2013, he was sentenced to eight years in prison where he later died in 2016 at the age of 84.

First 5 San Mateo County also partnered with the nonprofit group home StarVista. One of StarVista’s counselors was also convicted of molesting children.

In a floor speech in 2012, Congresswoman Speier praised the work of StarVista.

Does this mean Jackie Speier is a child predator?

No. If anything, it proves that the woman is recklessly ignorant of what goes on in her district.

Perhaps it’s a good thing she’s retiring from Congress.
