Democrat Attempt To Sabotage Larry Elder Is Backfiring

( Democrats in California, and their volunteer opposition research team at the Los Angeles Times have been going all out trying to destroy Republican candidate Larry Elder. Why so frightened, guys?

Elder is one of several Republicans listed on the ballot to recall failed Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom. And clearly Elder is seen as a significant threat.

The LA Times in particular has been hammering Larry Elder – dragging up gossipy garbage from an ex-girlfriend, comments or jokes Elder made on his radio program, even accusing the black conservative of being a white supremacist.

But according to Dan Walters of the website, the attacks on Elder from the media, the Democrats, and even some establishment Republican candidates have become so incredibly vicious they may be backfiring on them.

As Rush Limbaugh used to say, the Left tells you whom they fear by whom they attack. And Walters believes that the sheer weight of the attacks heading Elder’s way are giving voters a clear signal whom the Democrats are most afraid of.

Walters believes that Newsom and his media lapdogs hope to fire up California Democrat voters by focusing like a laser on Elder and all the so-called terrible things that would happen to California if Elder becomes governor.

Fact is, polling in California has shown that voter apathy among Democrats could very well be the reason Newsom is in danger of losing this recall vote. But Newsom’s laser-like focus on Elder is also firing up those who support the recall.

It’s the same dynamic that played out in 2016. The more Donald Trump was attacked, the more support he gained from frustrated and angry Republican voters.

Californians are frustrated and angry.

On Wednesday, even CNN reported that support for Gavin Newsom is “dwindling” among California Democrats.

And people frustrated and angry at Gavin Newsom being told by Gavin Newsom and his sycophants in the press that Larry Elder is a bad guy may not have the desired effect Newsom and the Democrats hope for.
