Could Pelosi Be OUSTED As Speaker? War Erupts As Pelosi Requests Re-election Support

( Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi has reportedly told her colleagues that she intends to once again run for Speaker of the House, despite turmoil and debate about her position within the Democratic caucus. The controversial House Speaker was a key driver behind the 2020 campaign for Congressional candidates with her aggressive message and approach.

It didn’t pan out, and the Democrat candidates were unable to unseat their Republican targets.

In a one-page letter sent to her colleagues on Thursday, Congresswoman Pelosi said that their vision over the next two years “must be to build on the success of the Democratic House Majority in the 116th Congress, and to harness the extraordinary vision, values and vibrancy of our Caucus to secure the progress that the American people deserve.”

Usual word soup.

“I am writing to request your support to be re-elected as Speaker,” she added. “I do so with the utmost respect for the diverse viewpoints of our Democratic Caucus, the gravity of this role and the urgency of the challenges ahead. I also do so with great joy and appreciation to so many of you who have already offered your support and engagement.”

In the letter, Pelosi also made some completely premature claims, specifically referring to the results of the election. While the media has called the election for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, that is yet to be confirmed and several court cases are in the process of being filed.

If we’ve learned anything from the 2000 election, it’s that the media can call the results and still be completely wrong.

Pelosi thanked her colleagues for helping “strengthen” the Democratic majority in the House, which is not accurate. In fact, the Democrats underperformed in the 2020 election – precisely the reason why Pelosi asking for support to be re-elected seems like a bold move.

The Washington Post leaked audio of a Democratic caucus phone conversation in which Rep. Abigail Spanberger slammed the far-left wing of the party for making her re-election campaign so difficult. She also told her Democratic colleagues that they should not be promoting socialism or the “defund the police” movement.

The Hill reporters that two Democratic senators have started encouraging House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries to be the next speaker, suggesting that he “bridges moderates and progressives better than anyone.”

“And most importantly, he’s not Nancy Pelosi,” sources told The Hill.

Could Crazy Nancy Pelosi really become House Speaker again?
