CNN Analyst Goes On Angry Rant Over Ron DeSantis

( Last week, Florida’s Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Lapado announced that Florida would recommend against giving healthy children ages five to seventeen the COVID vaccines, arguing that it is unclear if the benefits outweigh the risks.

Naturally, the American corporate news media went ballistic over the news.

CNN’s Jake Tapper invited medical analyst Jonathan Reiner on his program to viciously attack the Harvard-educated doctor.

In introducing Reiner, Tapper set the mood at the start, by noting that Dr. Lapado’s decision is not in line with what the CDC says.

Because we all know the CDC guidelines are never wrong.

Reiner called Dr. Lapado “a disgraceful surgeon general.” He said 1,400 children have died of COVID and “thousands and thousands” have been hospitalized. Reiner claimed that the COVID vaccine will prevent pediatric hospitalizations and deaths.

Then he admitted that “some data” shows that the COVID vaccine is of little benefit to children ages 5 through 11, but added that the vaccines are “very, very effective” in preventing serious illness. Reiner then declared that every child in the country should get vaccinated.

Reiner said Dr. Lapado is an “embarrassment” and accused him of being “anti-vax” and “anti-mask.”

Dr. Lapado has an MD from Harvard Medical School and a Ph.D. from Harvard in Health Policy.

But from the way Jonathan Reiner talks about him, you’d think he’s a voodoo doctor who lives in a grass hut.

Sounds a little racist.

But Reiner isn’t the only one slandering Dr. Lapado, White House press secretary Jen Psaki did as well. Last Monday, Psaki accused Lapado of peddling conspiracy theories and trying to cast doubt on the efficacy of the COVID vaccines.

In an appearance on the Ingraham Angle last week, Dr. Lapado explained his position:
