(JustPatriots.com)- As Democrats capitulate to the Marxist Black Lives Matter and Antifa extremists who claim America is a racist country, black Republican Senator Tim Scott stole the show on the first night of the Republican National Convention. Instead of the doom and gloom pushed at the DNC, Scott spoke positively about the people of America and told an uplifting personal story.
Scott spoke about how he flunked high school but made his way up in the world, achieved the American dream, and became a senator.
“Our family went from cotton to Congress in one lifetime,” Senator Scott said. “And that’s why I believe the next American century can be better than the last.”

“Do we want a society that breeds success, or a culture that cancels everything it even slightly disagrees with?” he asked. “I know where I stand, because you see, I am living my mother’s American Dream.”
Isn’t this the kind of positive, uplifting message we want to hear from politicians? While far-left activists burn down American cities and destroy black-owned businesses, there are thankfully still many Republican black leaders who can inspire hope in the African American community. At some point, people need to realize that white Antifa activists are not working in the interests of black Americans at all.
“My parents divorced when I was 7 years old,” Scott went on. “We lived in a two-bedroom house with my grandparents; me, my mom, and my brother sharing a room and a bed. My mom worked 16 hours a day to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. She knew that if we could find the opportunity, bigger things would come.”
It’s a message that many Americans can no doubt connect with. The economy before the Chinese coronavirus outbreak was putting an end to new stories like this, too. With historically low black unemployment – and unemployment across the board – families were making more money, paying less in taxes, and living the American dream. Tim Scott wanted Americans to know that families across the country can fulfil their potential with the help of the Trump administration and Republican politicians.
“There are millions of families like mine across this nation, full of potential, seeking to live the American dream,” he said. “And I’m here tonight to tell you that supporting the Republican ticket gives you the best chance of making that dream a reality.”
